Up a Canyon Without an Inspection - 03/31/10 09:07 PM
Today I was supposed to have an inspection on a Fannie Mae owned property.  I notified the listing agent on Friday morning that the buyer would like to have the home inspection today (Wednesday).  She said she would call the asset management company to have the property de-winterized and the propane on so the utilities would be on in the home.  The property is up a canyon on the side of the mountain.  It has a well, septic and propane.  I followed up with the listing agent on Monday to make sure the utilities would be up and running.
From my home, I have an … (13 comments)

Full Moon Arising - 03/31/10 06:27 PM
Last night we had a full moon.  I was able to capture it!
Yesterday we reached a temperature high of 82 degrees.  The day was absolutely beautiful.  There was an ever so slight breeze.  The sun was shinning the entire day.  And it ended with a breathtaking full moon.  So, I ask you, "What could be more perfect that that?!"  Colorado is the best place to live.  We have great weather, fabulous full moons and wonderful people.

Wordless Wednesday (almost) - 03/24/10 05:11 PM
Every morning I take my dog out for a walk on the trail behind my house.  He thinks he is part cow!!

But this morning, we woke up to a snow storm!  No grazing for Kobi, today!
He tried to stop along the way to see if there was any grass to be had.  He had to hop like a rabbit!  It was fun to watch him play.  He just loves the snow.  On days like today, he would rather be outside than indoors.

Our Reputation is Free Adertisement, Good and Bad - 03/23/10 09:56 PM
Our reputation is free advertisement, good and bad.  It proceeds us wherever we go, whether we like it or not.  I recently read a quote that hits the nail directly on the head.  I am not sure who said it, but, to me, it's pretty profound.
A reputation once broken may possibly be repaired, but the world will always keep their eyes on the spot where the crack was.
That is so true in just about everything in life.  If I trip on a sidewalk while walking, everytime I walk in that spot, I will always look down, so as not to trip again.  … (11 comments)

Patiently Waiting...and Waiting...and Waiting - 03/16/10 11:10 PM
I have two buyers that are patiently waiting...and waiting...and waiting.  One has an offer in on an REO (bank owned) property that has verbally been accepted and the other has an accepted bid for a HUD owned property.  Both buyers have been waiting patiently for 2 weeks now for a signed contract.
The buyer with the the offer on the REO property is waiting for a signed acceptance because the bank is deliberating over some bids to fix the flooring in order to get a loan on the property.  So until the bank decides on a flooring contractor, the buyer is … (8 comments)
