Today's recipe is Easy Ice-Cream Pie!
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups finely crushed graham crackers or chocolate wafers 5 tablespoons butter (melted) 1 quart pistachio or mint chip ice cream 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce red and green candies  Instructions
1.      Place 1 1/2 cups finely crushed graham crackers or chocolate wafers into a 9-inch pie pan.
2.     Stir in 5 tablespoons of melted butter  then press the mixture into the bottom and sides of the pan.
3.     Freeze for 30 minutes.
4.    Fill with 1 quart pistachio or mint chocolate chip ice cream, layer on 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce, top with … (5 comments)

I happened upon a post written on February 22, 2011 by Liz Farmer. 
Her post states that the Washington area had the best real estate market in the nation during the last months of 2010.  Prices in the area increased by 4.1% from the fourth quarter of 2009.  Washington was one of only two metro areas with an increase while nationally prices fell by 4.1%.
Not only have our home prices increased but our un-employment rate has decreased to 5.7% while nationally the average is 9.1%.

While searching the Pierce County Parks and Recreations website this morning I came across something that I did not like.
Due to budget cuts, the horse arena will be closed Oct. 2010 through March 2011 and Frontier Park.

The Pierce County Fair is celebrating it's 63rd year this year August 12-15, so why not stop by and help them celebrate!
  Have fun on the carnival rides, take a stroll through the local vendor booths and don't forget to eat lots of great fair food.  Enjoy one of the many free entertainment acts and attractions.
