On July 1, 2016, HAR, The Houston Association of Realtors, will be forced to start charging more money for what has been offered for free to its members. Since 1997, all tools developed by HAR have been incorporated into a single MLS package without raising MLS fees. Agent Dues/Fee changes since 1997 HAR (-5%) TAR +74% NAR +142% What needs to be understood by the members of HAR, is the fact the NAR policies changed and HAR was forced to offer a basic package to members that did not want to pay items they did not want or use.
