Has anybody else noticed all of the ladybugs around Wentzville, Missouri, lately?
I could only get 1 or 2 in a photo at a time, but they were swarming all over the place!
Everytime I thought I had more in a photo, 1 or more would fly off or walk out of the picture...
But I think you get the idea...
A few ladybugs are cute....but, I don't know...It's getting kind of creepy....! :)

He really is a sweetheart. He's very curious and mischievous and smarter than you'd think a horse should be. He also has a heart of gold...
I was loping him in the indoor ring the other day - I rode too close to one of the gates, and my bootleg got caught on it - It yanked me off of him and pulled me to the ground... OUCH!

Can you read the gas price on the Quik Trip sign on Wentzville Parkway in Wentzville,Missouri? It says $2.69 - That was last weekend...
The price on this Quik Trip sign below was taken this morning at the station on Bryan Road in O'Fallon, Missouri... (These 2 stations usually have comparable prices.)

This past weekend was Homecoming for Greenville College where my son Stephen attends. My husband and I decided that this would be a good time to visit.

Have you heard of Trader Joes? I've heard their advertisements on the radio, (It's a grocery store.), but I've never been there.
Recently, I've been hearing their radio ad talking about a different, healthy "treat" to give to trick-or-treaters this year...
Is is some sort of candy? sugar-free maybe? a healthy muffin...? No. To my suprise, they recommend giving the little munchkins who come to your door...Are you ready for this?....

Last night, for my birthday, my husband and I went to the St. Louis Bread Co. (one of my favorite restaurants) in Wentzville, Missouri with 2 of our kids (The other 2 couldn't make it.) and 1 of my nieces!

Missouri Must Be an Important State... - 10/19/08 09:39 AM
Barack Obama was in St. Louis yesterday at the St. Louis Arch. Tomorrow, John McCain will be in St. Charles, Missouri in New Town.
It looks like Missouri is a "swing" state. Also, I've heard that whoever wins the vote in Missouri is usually who wins the election.
We'll see if that happens this year... :)

What a Relief! - 10/18/08 07:47 PM
Boy, it seems like a great load has been lifted off my shoulders! Yesterday, I finished my last GRI class, and I'm soooo happy.
It seems like I've been taking these classes for months - only because I have...I started in May of this year. Once I start something, I just can't rest until I finish it. So... now I feel like I can breathe.
Anyway, I would definitely recommend the GRI course. I have learned so much and am looking forward to using it...! :)

It was an accident! Oh! I feel so bad. I was driving down the back roads, and a red squirrel jumped out from the weeds on the side of the road and ran right in front of me!
I saw him coming, but you know how squirrels are (squirrely), they stop and turn and run and twist...You never know what direction they're really going to go...
I could've slammed on my brakes, but I decided that that wasn't a good idea - I would've hit him anyway. That little "kathump thump" is sooo heart wrenching!

Wentzville, Missouri residents may be confused when they go to the polls this November. There will be 2 different "Proposition A's" to vote on.
The first Propostion A is for the state of Missouri and is about increasing the state tax that casinos pay and eliminating the $500 loss limit.
The second Proposition A is a $52.6 million bond issue for the Wentzville school disctict.
So, Don't be confused! Be sure you know what you're voting on... :)

Did you notice that stock market jump yesterday? Whoa! It jumped up over 900 points. I believe that is a record!
I don't know where it's going from here. I don't think anybody does. (I think it's down a little bit at the moment.)

October 9 and 10, 2008, the City of Wentzville will pick up bulky items for its residents. Those living on the north side of the railroad tracks will have their large items picked up Thursday, October 9, 2008.

Is it only me, or do other people dread going to the dentist? I dread it so much that I go as little as possible - once every 5 years or more - even if I'm in some pain.
Why? I think it's because I had a horrible experience when I was 9 years old. The dentist was working on my teeth, and it hurt. I was a very quiet girl (shy) and didn't say anything, but I had tears streaming down my cheeks. He just kept going. It brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it now.

Our company is starting something that I think is a pretty cool idea. I don't know if anybody else is doing it or not, but with gas prices the way they are...I think it's pretty smart.
What am I talking about? Well, many realtors participate in a "tour" once a week. The agents view about 5 or more new listings that the company has and give valuable input on price, staging, etc.
Anyway, every once in awhile, instead of driving to the listings, the listing agents bring in a "virtual tour" (for lack of a better word) of their property and tell what … (22 comments)

Well, as of today, October 3, 2008, I have officially changed offices. I am now a Broker/Sales Associate with Prudential Alliance Realtors!
It feels rather strange...It all happened so fast...But I really think it is a good move. My husband and I talked about it and prayed about it, and it seemed like the best thing to do.

Tomorrow, October 3, 2008 starts the Wentzville, Missouri Wabash Days. The festivities go through Sunday, October 5, 2008. It is held along West Allen Street in the downtown area. The hours are:
Friday - 5 to 11 p.m.
Saturday - noon to 11 p.m.
Sunday - noon to 7 p.m.
Wabash Days is celebrating the city's connection to trains and the railroad. There will be carnival rides, live concerts, crafts, food and more!
