Serendipity Sundays - Slow Down and Enjoy the Snow
Winter weather has set in and Friday brought a predicted snow. This closed schools in Clarksville/Montgomery County and set children out to play in the snow over the weekend. 

It hasn't warmed above the high 20's so very little melting has taken place. Schools are out for the Martin Luther King Day on Monday but another snow is expected to come later on Monday. The best advice I have is to have plenty of groceries in the house, put a fire in the fireplace and enjoy the snow.

We have had temperatures below freezing for several days now with nights dipping and wind chills into the low single digits. Our advice to tenants and homeowners is to keep their faucets running at a slow trickle to keep the pipes open and flowing. 

We also recommend keeping thermostats turned up and not closing off any rooms in a home. Opening vanity or cabinet doors under the sinks can help get warmer air to pipes and help prevent freezing pipes.
