These Are More of My ActiveRain Friends We had a smiling group of AR members from all across the country. We met at the Hilton Orlando and cocktails were flowing. The smiles in the following photos are the result. It doesn't matter where you get together, being with ActiveRain members is like getting together with family and friends. I did too mcuh talking and didn't get everyone's photo that was there. I fix that next time. Lisa Von Domek and Evelyn Johnston have been posting and talking about this gathering for months now. I can't wait to see more members at the D.C. meeting in May.

Some of the Best Christmas Gifts Aren't Bought in Stores It is getting harder and harder to buy for some of my friends and family members. Some people on my Christmas list have just about everything. When it comes time to decide what to buy and give it becomes stressful and perplexing. I don't want to give something that they don't want or that will sit in a drawer or top of the closet unused. I Am Thankful for Friends. I had friends over last night and though they didn’t know it, I cleaned and prepared all day for them. The funny thing is that they probably didn’t care and would rather I hadn’t. They just wanted to be together.I Am Thankful for Friends. I enjoyed just being with them and I think they had a good time. We ate and laughed and told stories. We listened to oldies and rehashed old memories. friends: It Is a Time to Take a Step Back

It is good for all of us to take some time to reflect and see where we are in our lives and in our businesses. With the Easter weekend having passed, many Good Easter messages and greetings have come in by email and text to me. These are reminders that we need to stop and think. For myself and my family, Easter is the celebration of the Resurrection and the gift God gave us by giving us Jesus, His Son, to take the punishment for our sins.
