A Good Market?

I have listened to the news around the country about the horrible market. Well that has brought a negative affect in the area that we are in. The loss of home sales seem to be just acorrection to pricing in the market. Everyone in our office as well as the other RE/MAX agents in area market seem to be busy with clients looking and even writting contracts. One of the biggest problems that I see is that buyers think they are going to get a steal on a home and then unknowledgable agents are over pricing homes either because they do not know better or they just want the listing. Then when the house sits for ever and then has a drastric reduction to sell it looks like a steal. This leads these other buyers to think they can then offer 20,000 off of a 200,000 home. But I will say most buyers have realized that they are not all steals and not all steal are what they want. Now I will say that if you find a builder that has sat on the house for a year or better you can get agreat home. Venting!!! What to do! OH, or the mortgage company just will not finance anyone. Chelsea, Alabama
