A Favorite "Bolivian Restaurant in the DC METRO AREA. . .TUTTO BENE
One of my favorite restaurants catering to the Bolivian community in the Washington Metro area is : Tutto Bene  conveniently located  the heart of Arlington, minutes away from Washington DC, and only two blocks from the Ballston metro station. This Restaurant it's Italian during the week. .but in the weekends. . .it becomes a Bolivian Restaurant . . .BOLIVIA PARA TODOS My family and I love to come here to eat at our hearts content typical Bolivian food. One of my favorites is SALTEñAS A Beef or chicken turnover mixed with green peas, diced potatoes, hard boiled egg, and raisins in a Bolivian spice broth. Another favorite of mine is CALDO DE MANI Peanut soup in a vegetable beef stock with rice, potatoes, and Bolivian spices And the one that really bring childhood memories is FRICASE a Spicy pork soup with cayenne yellow peppers, hominy, and sun dried potato.   salteña If you are willing to experiment and taste the culture of the Bolivian People in the DC area. .
