New Rochelle, NY: A.J.'s Burgers
When I first read this blog in July, I laughed out loud...For I had  a similar experience with the owner of A.J's Burgers. About 2 years ago, I was putting out open house signs and balloons, and it was so windy, I had a hard time controlling the balloons. It was a weekday, quiet (I guess), and the owner of A.J.'s Burgers came over and helped me with the signs/balloons. I had thought what a nice man at the time, and had resolved to go and visit his restaurant espceially since I have a son called A.J.. Well, my husband isn't the hamburger type, and I did go there once but it was closed, and then I saw Phil's blog. It made me smile. Today, my family was NOWHERE around, I had just finished a public open house, and was STARVING. I went to A.J's Burgers  (and he sells so much more than burgers, salads, chicken, whatever you want!), and had the most delicious hamburger and fries (yuk and gulp!). YOU know when you are really enjoying something and just wolf it down (shame on me), but it was delish.... SO, I had to re-post Phil's blog... Anyone in the area- go and visit  A.J's ... more
