The Fear That Prevents Success
We hear people talk a lot about fear of failure and even fear of success. But after listening to some people talk today I think maybe the one that holds people back the most is fear of disappointment.
Maybe that's tied to fear of failure, but I think it's something bigger - and sadder.
If you study the law of attraction, you know that whatever you think about most is what you're going to get. If you think about failure, you're going to get failure. So the best thing to do if you want success is to think about it, talk about it, and expect it. You have to hope for it.
And yet, there are many who keep right on talking about failure. You couldn't get them to admit that something even has a chance to turn out right. And so of course, it never does, because they consistently get the failure that they focus on each day.
If you study the law of attraction you also know that some other people think you're slightly batty. They think all that positive thought stuff is hocus-pocus and nonsense. And there's no chance that they'd buy into and do silly things like ... more
