A Small Bedroom Community!  What exactly does this mean?                                                                                                   
While watching HGTV one evening, my husband & I were watching an episode of House Hunters.  When out of the blue, they were in Severna Park, MD.  Here in my own hometown.  Apparently, the couple already lived here and wanted to upgrade to a larger home for them and their two children.  As they went on, they stated that the couple lives in "The small bedroom town of Severna Park, MD."  My husband & I looked at each other and said "What does that mean?"                                                                                 
Wikipedia says:  A commuter town is an urban community that is primarily residential, from which most of the workforce commutes out to earn their livelihood. Many commuter towns act as suburbs of a nearby metropolis that workers travel to daily, and many suburbs are commuter towns. Commuter towns belong to the metropolitan area of a city, and a ring of commuter towns around an urban area is known as a commuter belt.
