BAN ON SEPTIC TANKS IN MARYLAND WOULD IMPACT ST MARY'S COUNTY HOUSING
IF,  there's a BAN ON SEPTIC TANKS IN MARYLAND WOULD it IMPACT ST MARY'S COUNTY HOUSING, and housing in other rural parts of Maryland?
ST MARY'S COUNTY is a rural county in Southern Maryland.  Most homes in Lexington Park and Leonardtown are on public sewer.  There are other smaller sewage waste systems in the county, built by builders of subdivisions.
BUT the majority of ST MARY'S COUNTY have no sewage waste systems and rely on septic systems.  The Governor is looking at subdivisions  with five-or-more homes as requiring sewage waste systems.  The intent would be to assist in reducing pollution. This would not appear to effect indiviuals who need a septic tank for one new house.
