Red Feather Lakes cabins create lasting and wonderful memories.
A few months ago I had the pleasure of helping a Red Feather Cabin find its way back into the family that originally built it.
What I like so much about this sale was that the buyer's lovely wife spent many good times up at this cabin when she was a child.  
She knew and loved the people that built it. 
This well built, beautiful cabin held many cherished memories and it was important to her to bring it back into the family.
It's said that going to Red Feather Lakes is like taking a step back in time and for this lucky buyer, it really was. The old wood cook stove was still there as well as the turquoise 1950's frig (which for some reason reminded me of a Cadillac.)
Often, family cabins get sold but the memories leave a lasting impression on the heart. Recollections of the fun and good times spent in them rarely fade away. 
Several years ago, we drove around the area with our son-in-law looking for THE cabin that held his own fond childhood memories, of fishing and playing in the woods.
