Recent Lessons in How To Get Along With People
Things I have learned (again) in the recent past.  Drama is a really good indicator of some kind of dysfunctionality.  With the exception of birth, death and weddings, there is almost nothing about healthy relationships that generates drama. 
If a situation can't be summarized to the point that it would fit on a bumper sticker, it is probably Drama. If you can see that it is Drama, refer to the previous paragraph.  If it is, in fact, Drama, turn your horse around and ride off in the opposite direction.  Fast.
And, if you figure out that it is Drama, don't make the situation worse. Gossip is to Drama what Oxygen is to Fire.  If you talk about it, you feed it.  Go to a movie instead.  Talk about world events.  Go knit a sweater.  But do not comment in any way on the situation.  Period.
