Lots of Drama Lately
Lots of Rain Love showed recently and it seems like my life feels like a soap opera. First with being sick as a dog, then another personal battle with the loss of a pregnancy and now, helping my brother fight for his life and legs.
Katerina Gasset called me last night (Thursday) as I was rushing to the Emergency Room. I distraughtly told her, I can't talk right now but my brother had just been rushed to the hospital because he lost the strength of his legs, which no injury or trauma.
My brother had always complained about sore backs. We just thought he pulled his back playing basketball.
Truth be told, last night and in the wee early morning, we found out that he has an aggresive growth tumor that compressed on his spinal cord. It had eaten away about 90% of that portion of the cord. The neurosurgeon was surprised he could still walk in his condition.
My brother is a healthy 24-year old who hasn't been sick much. Not even the flu. He is one of the nicest people you'd ever meet and he loves life. Every 2 weeks, he donates platlets.
