All Good Things In Life Are Gifts
I like to use this re-blog feature that is offered here on Active Rain.  It allows others to read some of the informative blogs that are available here on line.  Here is another excellent article!

I don't think we need to wait only till November here in the U.S., October in Canada, to set aside a day of Thanksgiving for reflection. Many parents around the dinner table ask their youngsters what they learned for the day. Well maybe we should think about that count your blessings prior to dozing off to sleep each night for that day. The count your blessings phrase is a good one but kind of falls into that cliche too often. I prefer
           All Good Things In Life Are Gifts.
Think of someone handing you a gift. Not only a surprise but feelings of happiness you get too.
It may be your restored health and healing, financial good fortune, the gift of faith, and most important the gift of PEOPLE. They have to be near the very top of the list. Their gift of a kind word, smiles, their time, energy and caring put into your life.
