Reis - Which claims to be, "Your Window To the Real Estate Market", at least from no only an investor's viewpoint, but a renter's point of view and a typical buyer's point of vie as well, recently ranked the 10 cities where it's almost as cheap to buy as it is to rent. (Reis made the calculations using its own second-quarter rent data and second-quarter home value data from Zillow.com.)   Well, then all of my Zillow friendly clients should take this to heart.    The following list is where real estate can be purchased for the lowest prices.   In order beginning with Detroit, Michigan having the lowest home prices in the Nation! 1.  Detroit, MI 2.  Pttsburgh, PA 3.  Rochester, N.Y. 4.  Memphis, Tenn 5.  Tampa, Fla. 6.  Cleveland, Tenn. 7.  Columbia, S.C. 8.  Dallas, TX 9.  Las Vegas, NV 10.Providence, R.I.
 
Amazing that this home can be purchased for only $39,000 in Detroit, Michigan....and I thought prices were low in Riverside County, California but not this low!
 

 
 
 
 
 
And this one in Pittsburgh, PA says it can be purchased for only $36,000 but then the Zestimate says $93,700, so I'm not ... more
