OREA and CREA Fees Due on January 31, 2012
Real estate brokers and sales representatives who are members of the Toronto Real Estate Board ("TREB") are reminded that their calendar 2011 CREA and OREA fees must be paid to TREB on or before January 31, 2012.  If you do not pay your CREA and OREA fees on or before January 31, 2012, TREB will automotically terminate your TREB membership because membership in CREA and OREA is a mandatory requirement to be a member of TREB.
You will be able to reinstate your membership by paying a $100 reinstatement fee within a certain time frame.
There are several convenient ways to pay your CREA and OREA fees including cash, cheque, VISA, Mastercard and American Express.  You can pay in person at TREB, online through E-commerce, via telephone and other manners.
TREB has sent the invoices, on or around December 15, 2011, to your brokerage.  Your invoice are also available online via the E-Commerce screens on MLS.
Eligible HST registrants can recover the 13% HST on the invoice, which is dated January 3, 2012, within the time allowed by legislation.
