The humorous side in selling real estate

 
Most know, that I am third generation in real estate with a strong background in just about every area in real estate, including rehabbing and redesigning.  My Dad, built his first home when he married my Mom.  Mom used to tell us stories about the neighborhood kids coming to their door and asking "Can Jim come out and play?"  Dad had to be 24 at the time. 
Mom and Dad, on a whole, generally moved one block at a time.  From one end of the street to the other.  But that first home, while I wasn't born in it, Dad sold it to a friend and his wife and two girls from our church.  I remember going to this home for dinner at times over the course of the years.  It was a pretty neat and cool house and I loved it because it was the first one my Dad built.
That family has stayed in the home and while my Dad's friend and his wife have passed away, the two daughters, still live in this home and we still stay in touch.
