Radiologists come in mass to Louisville KY
 The Louisville International Airport is busy this week as hundreds of radiologists descend upon Louisville KY.  They are here as students and examiners for Louisville KY is the testing site for every radiologist in the country.  In early May every year, approximately 1,000 radiologists are finishing their 5-year residency requirements. Their most crucial test is the oral boards that are held at the Crown Plaza Hotel on Phillips Lane.  The morning starts at 7:00 with orientation and a computer exam. This follows with a one-on-one interview with the examiners, as they test their competency skills. These doctors will need to be able to think quickly on their feet as they look at a film and they make their diagnosis.  The examiner is a radiologist with lots of experience and he can probe the students’ knowledge of this case and how they came to their diagnosis.
 We are privy to all of this, because our son, Dr. Nathan Dobbs, has found the best accommodations in town as he prepares for his BIG day.
