For those of us with large offices (and even for some of us with smaller offices) we have support staff.  We have someone who answers the phones, someone who deals with our MLS input, someone in the marketing department handling our print ads, and our internet ads, coordinating with photographers, brochures, and other vendors.
There are a lot of people who work behind the scenes and to keep us running smoothly, and it's often a thankless job.  Literally!  We often have a lot of work that needs to be done, frequently at the last minute.  A listing that needs to be input at 4:30 on Friday, so that we can hold our Sunday open house... a sign needs to be ordered and installed... a closing packet needs to be ordered for a closing that we forgot about.
People.  Our support staff, our office administrators, and marketing assistants are not paid "the big bucks", like we are on the listings.  They are overwhelmed on a regular basis, and have dozens of bosses that bring them projects all day long...
