Kansas City Red Bridge Festival & Parade: A Salute to Veterans 2012
Hey Neighbors!   It's that time of year again...Our 3rd Annual Red Bridge Festival and Parade: A Salute to Veterans. Though this is our first ever parade, we brought the festival back again from many years ago since so many people looked forward to it. Come out and visit with neighbors, local businesses, local arts & crafts vendors, and more.   If you like cars, then you'll love our Car Show. As part of our tribute to those that have served the country, we will have a Flag Ceremony as well as hearing from 6th District Kansas City City Councilmembers Scott Taylor and John Sharp. Don't miss the American Legion Band and Color Guard! Now, if you are a dog lover, you are welcome to participate in the Dog Show. Which neighbor will win this time?   Join us for the parade starting east of Holmes on Red Bridge just past the new Red Bridge and just over the historic old bridge. The parade starts at 10:00am and travels east, ending at the Red Bridge Shops on Red Bridge and Holmes.   Then, stay the rest of the day and enjoy lunch, fun and games (including inflatables) even the Center School Band will be there to perform! Remember - ... more
