Bank of America throwing family out on the street with pancreatic cancer!
Bank of America is throwing someone with pancreatic cancer out on the street! They've denied loan modifications even with the assistance of a HUD counselor.
They are now going forward & process foreclosure on this family even though one family member is seriously ill.  All the paperwork has been provided correctly (which I hear time & time again in these situations) & still Bank of America denies the request. Imagine how frustrating it is to provide the same paperwork over & over again and never getting a result or answer!
Shame on Bank of America!  In future dealings as a consumer be sure to keep examples like this on your mind!
 
After three years of filling out loan modification paperwork and sending it in, I was informed via a phone call today from Bank of America that my loan modification was declined on 2/1/13 as I didn't submit all the documents.  Bank of America continues to state this as a reason for declining my loan modifications, but I give them everything they ask for and then have my HUD counselor review it for completeness.  Anyone who knows me knows how organized and detail-oriented I am.  I have a Ph.D. from Columbia ... more
