Inspiration comes freely! While driving home from Church on Sunday on January 25, 2016, I heard on the radio about an exhibit at the Dallas Galleria Mall showcasing women's fashions from the 1920's. After mass, I took a bee line over to the mall!
 
Since my mother was born in the mid 1920's, I would like to think my Grandmother had an opportunity to wear one of these beautiful dresses. The attention to details, the fabric, material, designs, and tailoring made me wish I shared the experience of slipping into something this elegant. Truly! Women changed the way they looked and they sure looked glamorous but not trashy. Elegant but not snobbish. Stunning and bold!  
 
 
 
  
 
A time to dance! Fashion, arts, music and the right for women to vote was a time to feel free and come alive! The culture was changing but it would take years, more wars,  recession, depressions, sacrifices, hard work, and the power of women to implement change for better generations to come.
