     Under ECOA law, lenders are not allowed to discriminate against any applicant on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age, or the receipt of public assistance.  Please note that within this list of protected classes, "Bigots" is not listed as a protected class.  I'm extremely thankful for this, because I refuse to do business with them.
 
 
     Yesterday, I had a client inform me that she was having trouble getting a loan because she was white & American.  Huh?  Can you please send in the denial letter from another lender that says you were denied a loan because you're white & American?  I'm no lawyer, but I'm pretty sure we're making a pretty penny off the lawsuit I'll help you file!
 
 
     "Also because I'm not  drug dealer".  Ohhhh, I see where this is going (ok, ok, I saw where this was going much earlier in the conversation).
 
 
      So because you're white, American, and not a drug dealer, you can't get a loan?  That's odd, because I just funded two loans last week for white, non-drug dealing Americans with no trouble at all.  We've got another one ... more
