Homes are very personal to us. So many memories are made in them. We put special touches in them that reflect who we are...it may be a paint color, special flooring, shelves, ceiling fans etc. Homes are where our children learned to walk, to talk, where the family came together for the holidays. Each room holds a memory. All of this can make it difficult for us to put a realistic value on our home when we need to sell it. What is a house of memories worth.
