This week’s report on home values for Mission Viejo and surrounding areas homes is prepared by a Mission Viejo Realtor Tim Lorenz. The report shows the Orange County Median Prices for resale homes were up 52 percent, for new homes up 1.0 percent and for resale condos up 5.9 percent. The sales volume is up for resale homes 10.8 percent and up 7.3 percent on condos and up 25.3  percent for new homes.  
 
•Mission Viejo Zip Code 92691 sales prices are up 1.6 percent and the sales volume is up 51.3 percent.
•Mission Viejo Zip Code 92692 sales prices are up 17.9 percent and the sales volume is down 9.0 percent.
•Aliso Viejo Zip Code 92656 sales prices are down 0.0 percent and the sales volume is up 11.3 percent.
•Laguna Niguel Zip Code 92677 sales prices down 8.8 percent and the sales volume is down 11.2 percent.
•Rancho Santa Margarita Zip Code 92688 sales prices are down 0.1 percent and the sales volume up 28.3 percent.
•San Clemente Zip Code 92672 sales prices are up 1.5 percent and the sales volume is down 10.2 percent.
•San Clemente Zip Code 92673 sales prices are down 5.2 percent and the sales volume is up 4.8 percent.
 
We are off an running in 2017.  We will have to see how the market reacts,  We are looking at a fast moving market and a strong market.  Only zip code 92677 Laguna Niguel is an issue all vectors moving down.
