Yorkville IL 2016 Single Family Home Sales YTD Up 18.5%
Yorkville, IL home sales posted an increase of 18.5% in 2016 over 2015's closed sales.  This translated to 
417 sold homes vs. 2015's 352 sales.  Although the average sales price decreased a modest -0.2% from 2015's $251,828 to only $251,344 the median sale price was up 2.1 % to $236,855 in 2016 vs. $232,000!
 
Current inventory levels of available single family homes:  138 available homes.  This is a 4.8 months of inventory which is down 23.2% from 2015's level.  There are currently 50 homes under contract with 7 of those clear to close this month already.
