So, I've read that some people aren't big fans of market reports.  And, I post a lot of them.  But, I also read and comment on the reports of others and because of that I think I know more about the pace of our real estate market:

No...it’s not for points.  At the core of ActiveRain is the community. We build relationships virtually and sometimes in person.
It has been suggested that the best way to begin that relationship building is to read and comment on the posts of others.
 
It’s true!  It’s not enough to write a post and let it float off into cyberville. If your goal is to get to know others here, then there needs to be a back and forth of dialog.
 
Hey, it’s just like real life!  Friends stop to say “hello” and support each other.

But when the blogger primarily posts market and listing reports, how do you comment?  
Writing these reports is not a bad thing. It’s what makes the phone ring! But it’s a lot easier to comment on a Wordless Wednesday post or a “How ... more
