All Was Great Until.... Balancing Work and Life
 
Honestly most of my life I've been great at keeping a healthy balance between work and personal life.  Until....there always is an until in most peoples stories about why they just can't keep a good balance! Go ahead if you're struggling with balance just say to yourself all was going great until___________ blah blah blah. I dare you! 
 
 
Here's my until story....
 
We opened our own brokerage in 2006. Looking back it seemed like a fantastic idea, and it was in many ways.  We found a perfect office, set it up, decorated it and opened our doors. It was all very exciting! Agents joined us and we created a lot of  business and buzz around town, hosted a lot of chamber events, network mixers and classes at the office. Things were headed in a great direction and then.....the market crashed in October of 2008. BOOM. Pretty much we were dead in the water with absolutely nothing going on and no income but a heck of a lot of expenses. Now what? Well that's exactly when my UNTIL moment reared it's ugly head.
