New Retailers Setting Up Shop in South East Orlando
With all the buzz surronding Amazon's recent news to open up warehouses in Lake Nona, Bizjournals.com shared an article about more than 467,369 square feet of shops and restaurants that are coming to Narcossee Road near State Road 417.
 
 The $100 million Lake Nona Landing shopping center is looking more like its site plan as work has gone vertical on new tenant buildings that include a Pollo Tropical, Chili's, Mattress One and Central Florida's second Rubio's Costal Grill. A 158,000-square-foot Lowe's home improvement center is by far the largest addition to the complex. The exterior is nearing completion with the entrance and loading dock visible from across the parking lot. Highlights will include a 37,200-square-foot garden center, an indoor lumber yard and 484 parking spaces.
Lake Nona Landing developer, Tavistock Development Co. LLC, officially announced in February the addition of Lowe's to the retail roster which currently is anchored by a high-tech Wal-Mart Supercenter and Sam's Club.
 
The retail center will bring an anticipated consumer element to the 17-square-mile southeast Orlando community.
