Prayers for Curtis Van Carter - Napa Valley Burning

Please keep Curtis Van Carter, his family, friends, their property, the people in Napa Valley, their livelihood, all creatures, plants, trees, animals, and all the people in Napa Valley in your thoughts and prayers.  The last I heard from Curtis a short while ago was this:
 
"thank you all for your concern. There are suppose to be 45 mph wind gusts tonight so no telling what will happen. I hear parts of Calistoga are on fire. I am packed and fingers crossed cvc"
 
It hasn't been a month yet since I got back from Glacier National Park and saw the devastation from wildfires out west. Trust me, wildfires changes everything from the landscape, property, firefighters on call, to the economic woes and the direct impact it has on the economy.  This summer's powerful hurricanes and flooding, including summer and fall's wildfires have spurred many lawmakers to think about conservation, preservation, damns, dikes, infrastructure, rescue efforts, food, water, transportation, volunteer help, donations, and forest management. But in the meantime, people who live in these targeted areas must learn how to cope, get out, problem solve, be prepared, and deal with the emotional stress of heartache and sorrow.
