Pop! Pop! Fizz, Fizz. Yikes... that was my pipes!

We're coming out of the deep freeze here in Delaware and my local feeds on social media are awash with notices about frozen pipes. My neighbor and friend, Michael, posted something helpful. In case you are facing anything similar in your area, and since winter is far from over, I thought I'd share. Michael is a contractor in northern Delaware, for any of you who might need to avail yourself of his services!

Many people have had frozen pipes due to the arctic blast. Now as the temperature starts to climb there are a few things to do so you're prepared. Double check around your down spouts to make sure they are clear and all of the water is going to be directed away from your foundation. Take the time to test your sump pump. It may be put to the test in the next few days and it’s better to find out now it needs to be replaced. If you haven’t covered your hose bib, there is still time just in case there is another freeze. #beanshomeimprovementsinc
