It's All About The Love Of Real Estate: Part 1

"The world belongs to problem solvers."
Over the span of a 30-year career I had the opportunity to work many transactions.  Some I loved and some not so much. Since it is February, the month of love,  Lisa Von Domek has challenged us to write about some of the transactions we loved during our careers. 
When I saw this challenge posted, one of the transactions that first popped into my mind was when I was able to help a single mother, with 4 children buy a home.  Her income didn't allow her to qualify for a home that was big enough for her and the children. Other agents had blown her off as a waste of time.  I did not. I love a challenge. 
After some diligent searching, I found a home with a rental unit on the property and we were able to use the additional income to help qualify her for the purchase.   The transaction went smoothly, with the help of a trusted loan officer and a motivated buyer.  The rest of the story is, a few years later I sold that property for her and she purchased another home from me.
