Black Alameda Walking Tour on Saturday, February 10, 10 am to Noon.  Tour Northside neighborhood of early Black pioneers.  Meet at Lincoln and Minturn.  The fee for this tour is $10 and free for Alameda students.  Rasheed Shabazz will lead the tour.  For more information please go to bit.ly/blackalamedawalkrasheed@berkeleyedu
 
The Alameda’s Farmer’s Market is open to the public Saturday, February 10,  and Tuesday, February 13 mornings from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, rain or shine.  All the fruits and vegetables are available at great prices.  So good!  Don’t miss the opportunity to shop for delectable fruits, vegetables, and flowers.  The market is on Haight Avenue at Webster Street and is open rain or shine.
 
 
 
Love Tent at South Shore Center on Saturday, February 10 at 11 am to 3 pm.  Inside the tent near the frog fountain, a local poet will help write a poem for your beloved.  Please call Emmanuel Williams at 320-0181 for more information.
 
 
 
Alameda South Shore Center and Off the Grid food trucks will be at South Shore on Saturday, February 10, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the South Shore Center parking lot in front of Petco.
