How to Make Back Surgery an Awesome Success - Plan Dinner in Advance
This past Thursday as I arrived at 2:30p.m. on time as planned, there was a two and one-half hour of wait or prepping, for the NERVE PAIN in my back.
I shared some laughter with the nurses, found two nurses who wanted to buy homes, and then the anesthesiologist came in.
He explained his game plan.
My comment was to all of them: I want to be at P F Chang at 6:30p.m. since I have not eaten today.
Their response was: you may not make that time frame.
My response: Then 6:45p.m. will work also.
Well it was 8:00p.m. before I was eating: shrimp, melon balls, and walnuts. And one of the most enjoyable meals I have had in months.
NO PAIN! Pain FREE!

After the past 73 days of walking with a walker, to keep the pressure off my left leg, left hip, and lower back, the feelings I have had these past four days, remind me of coming home from Viet Nam, and seeing America again.
