Tough Times: How To Choose The Right Coach For You
In the world of business today, professional coaching is ‘in’. But, to be sustainable, it must more than just a fad. I think coaching actually is filling a long term ‘need’ in today’s world. Why? Because we all need focus and direction. We need this focus and direction especially during tough times. Because, during challenge, it’s easy to lose our self-confidence. We need that extra lift that a great coach can give us—that motivation and inspiration.
Too Many Directions and Distractions In A Fast-Past World
People argue, though, that there is so much information available today that we should all be able to just get it from the Internet and get into action, right?
Actually, not right. The very problem is that there is too much information. We need someone to help us prioritize it, stay focused on it, and measure the results of our strategies and systems implementation. I know, as a long-time performing musician, I can’t hear myself like my performance coach can hear me. I can’t see the potential that my performance coach can see in me.
