Multiple Offers Return! - 02/23/12 05:23 PM
This month we listed a house that was on the market last yet. It didn't sell. We re-listed it after Christmas and this month we came back full blast. Within weeks we had a dozen showings, and this week we had 3 different offers for the seller to choose from.
Is the real estate freeze melting? Are we coming back from the abyss?

I am tired of trying to figure out where my thousands of digital photos are. Someone please help me! If you have tips on how you organize your photos please post them here.
On my one digital SD card I just downloaded almost 3000 images to my desktop. They are organized in folders by month (2012-01 for example for photos taken in January 2012).

How important is a Credit Check when Renting - 02/17/12 08:17 AM
We operate a property management division here at our office, helping Schuylkill County landlords find good tenants for their rentals. We do credit and background checks on ALL our tenants. I know what Hannah is saying because I am simply amazed at how bad some these come back, and the consumer doesn't seem to know what is on their credit report. 
We had a situation recently with multiple applicants for the same Orwigsburg rental property. We ran credit checks on all the applicants and the landlord chose the tenant with the best report.

If you are buying or selling a home in Schuylkill County, chances are you're using a FHA loan. You need to know how the FHA appraiser will look at the property, and what is required/not required. Know that the appraiser is required to note in the appraisal any deficiencies in the property, but it is at the lender's discretion to make or not make them a required fix. This is important information!
