The other night I was reminded of what a blessing it is to live and work in Laguna Beach. After work, we went to the restaurant K’ya in Laguna Beach located on PCH. They were offering amazing happy hour specials for reduced prices if you go early. We ate downstairs in the restaurant and then migrated up to the rooftop bar. We witnessed a lovely sunset as Catalina Island was on the horizon. A few surfers caught the last waves before dusk. Spending time with good friends and enjoying the ocean views of Laguna Beach makes me thankful. Whether one (1 comments)
Have the luxury homes really suffered along the coast? Do the Laguna Beach oceanfront and ocean view homes sustain their value? I compared the first seven months of this year in 2009, to last year in 2008. What I saw was interesting. The average sale price of a Laguna Beach oceanfront or Laguna Beach ocean view home, from January-July last year was approx. $2.1 million. This year thus far it is $2 million. Not much difference.
