Available now are REOS in the midwest for pennies on the dollar. These homes are puchased in mass from banks, Fannie Mae, Fannie Mac, HUD, and others. The are purchased for around 10 cents on the dollar. They are then offerred to the general public "as is" for around 30 cents on the dollar. However, if you want to minimize your efforts and risk you can purchase them for around 30 to 55 cents on the dollar. For that price they will rennovate the property inside and out. Setup property management services for you and locate a renter or buyer. It takes about 2 1/2 weeks to purchase, 3 weeks for rennovation and 2 weeks to find a renter or 30 days to find a buyer. Another more popular option is to purchase a property that has been completely rennovated and has a renter or buyer already in place. These home can be purhcased for about 65 cents on the dollar.
