We didn't raise any money with my son Charles' first shave at halftime at the Superbowl yesterday so I thought I would share a successful event that raised over $688,000 for Special Olympics yesterday. Sunday the Superbowl was not the only big event around. It was also the 13th annua; Penguin Plunge to benefit Special Olympics at Hampton Beach NH. Over 1100 people jumped into the 43 degrees water to raise money. $688,000 was raised.

Negotiations are a large part of our business. I see good negotiators in the marketplace and I see bad negotiators. I feel like I am constantly reminding my clients that until we get negotiations on paper, it is not a deal. A recent visit to The Historic Village of Gold Hill proved to be something I had not expected. Quite a destination in all actuality. We felt as though we had not only left our regular lives and entered a new dimension, but we also felt that this place being less than 30 minutes from our Target was more than amazing.
