Ok, I know I've already blogged about Agave Kitchen in downtown Hudson and how fabulous it is: how it's right by the river, the menu offers a variety of foods, the environment is fun, etc. So I'm going to skip all that and get straight to the good stuff for today.

If you haven't already tried this fabulous restaurant, you have got to pick up the phone and dial to make reservations right now for tomorrow night. Shanghai Bistro is known for their phenomenal sushi. I'm talking like "keep the rolls coming" kind of sushi. If you're not a fan of sushi, they have other great things to offer as well. They offer basic Chinese cuisine, like sesame chicken, kung pao chicken & more. Despite the magnificent array and presentation of their food, Shanghai Bistro's prices are very reasonable.

Tomorrow morning (Thursday, August 25) starting at 7 o'clock, fresh produce including fruits, vegetables, flowers, etc. will be flourishing at Plaza 94. All produce being sold are locally farm-fresh produced- so this food is just about as fresh as you can get. It is a great way to contribute and support your local farmers in the community. If you've never purchased from a farmer's market before, you've got to go. There is nothing like it. Not only will you love the food, but you will fall in love with the real sense of community you get while shopping around.

Hudson's Concerts in the Parks Series is taking a spin on the usual events lined up. Yes, don't worry they still will have a concert for all you music lovers out there. A local musician will perform. But for all you movie lovers, they will be playing a movie outside after the concert! Back to the Future will be featured in tonight's movie! Come on, it's a classic; you've got to go. It's at the usual place: Lakefront Bandshell off of Locust Street. Everything starts at 7pm. Don't dance and sing too much so you fall asleep during the movie! Enjoy!

Bella Luce Boutique has been a family owned and operated boutique for almost three years now. The Pepper Festival has become an annual tradition get together starting back in 1954. It's all about celebrating North Hudson's italian heritage. The Pepper Fest is full of fun activities all day and night throughout the entire weekend. Despite the fun that everyone has, there's something a little more special about this festival. This festival is a non-profit, so all of its' proceeds are donated to local youth, school, community, and service organizations. It is truly a great way to have a good time doing something good for the community you live in.

For all you American Idol lovers out there, listen up! Concerts in the Parks is hosting American Idol's own contestant Caleb Hawley tonight! He will be performing at the normal place, Lakefront Bandshell in downtown Hudson right by the river. The concert starts at 7 pm. I'm sure it will be packed so plan on being there a little earlier if you want to get a good place.

Today's not the best summer day; it's going to start storming anytime now; the whole family is at home probably getting bored of being in the house, so what to do? How about take the whole fam out and go to a movie! It's the perfect day for it! Glee 3D just came out and it is guarenteed to be a hit for the whole family!

If you're a wine lover, then this restaurant is the place for you. The Nova is known for serving exceptional high quality and wide selection of wines. This restaurant is a one-of-a-kind place that you must try. It's located just off of Main Street in downthown Hudson. It's a little tucked in so not very many people now about it, but once you go once you won't stop.It's atmosphere is cozy & relaxing with a fireplace that will make you want to stay there all night. TONIGHT'S CONCERT IN THE PARK: MN JAZZ ORCHESTRA! - 08/04/11 01:35 PM
It's an absolutely gorgeous day out and who knows what Minnesota weather will bring us next week. So we've got to enjoy this weather while it's here; and I have the perfect way to accomplish that. Tonight right in downtown Hudson by the river, an awesome concert is going to be happening. Enjoy some Big Band music performed by the Minnesota Jazz Orchestra.It will be a fantastic time just enjoying the weather, the river, and some good music.
