Before deciding to go to images.google.com, flickr.com, Youtube, etc to grab(aka stealing) some photos to use in your blog or on your web site, here are a few tips that might interest you. I ran into another recent homebuyer last week that said she wanted to contest her real estate tax amount. She and her husband bought a foreclosure at more than 25% discount from what the appraised value came back at. You would think they would be happy since the house didn't need too much work? No, the county was taxing her on the appraised value of the real estate, not what it sold for. She didn't agree with that. She wants to only pay taxes on the amount they paid for the house. The latest information from police and Town of Leesburg is that route 15 could be closed from Noon until 6PM. So if you plan to be in Leesburg or anywhere along the route, you could potentially be stuck on one side of 15 and not allowed to cross even on foot. I recently recieved an offer from a MD agent on one of my VA listings. In the MRIS, I have checked " Call Listing Agent for Contract Information", but of course, most never do. They just slap together whatever forms they are use to using and fax the offer. I'm not lying, the potential buyer signed and initialed everything in pencil and I either can't read, or can barely read where he signed and initialed. Has anyone noticed lately the increase in agents that have become too lazy to write directions to their listings in the MLS? In the box where we usually write " Take 7 west, to 9 west, to a right on 287N, to left on Nixon Rd to 999 Nixon." That has becaome just too difficult for many agents. Instead, they just write " GPS". That's it. Scenario- agent wants to write offer on one of my short sale listings- prepares offer with the usual missing pages, then faxes or emails it to their customer who has a fax/printer that they bought at a flea market or yard sale. They sign and intial in most of the places they we're suppose to ( with blue ink or cheap pen that skips also bought at flea market), they fax it back to their agent who should be able to see that this is not readable, and even the printing on the original forms can't be read on many of … (57 comments)
