Improvements to the 68-year-old Geist dam are nearing completion. Large concrete blocks have been placed on top of the existing slope to prevent erosion, as well as a fresh layer of asphalt and new fencing has been installed on top of the dam. The restoration project, in the heart of the Feather Cove neighborhood, has taken more than a year to complete.
