When I am working with Home Buyers, they always have questions about the process.  Usually, the questions will be regarding terms they are unfamiliar with, such as Under Contract, Possession and Closing Date, Contingencies, Concessions or Earnest Money.

When I am helping buyers find their dream home, there are a lot of questions that can come up during the process.  Terms that we Realtors use often can sound foreign to someone who hasn't purchased a home in awhile - if ever.

Now that the Real Estate market is showing more and more signs of life, new home builders are once again ramping up their activity.  Some buyers will prefer to buy a brand-new home so that they can pick their finishes, and customize it to their liking before they ever move in.  Plus, some buyers like the idea that they are buying a brand-new house without any issues or things that need repair.  A brand new house that has never been lived in won't have any of the potential issues of a house that has already had years of use, right?

There have been a lot of changes in Real Estate lately.  Whereas a year ago, homes in Henderson and Commerce City, Colorado, might languish on the market for 6 months or more, lately the number of days on market has dropped dramatically.  What's more, available homes are at a 10 year low throughout the Denver Metro area!
This means that home prices are starting to rise.  It also means that multiple offers may be submitted for those limited homes.
