Ready for a treat!  The weather is warm and the colors are beautiful.  Time to bring Oct to and end and ret ready for Fall and Thanksgiving!  Don't forget that Saturday night before you go to bed to set the clocks back, and check the batteries in your smoke detectors!!  You get a extra hour of sleep, but It gets dark at 5:30.  I kinda wished we did not set the clocks back.  I love to smell the fall air, it smells like warm and cozy fires, not everyone like the cool, It reminds them that cold is coming … (2 comments)

We live in a neighborhood that usually sees about 200 kids on Halloween.  Last year I ran out , I gave out 500 pieces of candy and at 9 pm they were still coming around!!  TThis year we went to Sam's and bought hug bags with about 1000 pieces of candy. Most of the houses in the neighborhood are really fixed up for Halloween, we have a fall look with pumpkins, hoping It can make it into Nov as fall decorations.  I love to decorate, but don't like the Halloween look that much. I have clients coming from California and Florida looking to save money and get out a area that is not getting better.  We compared a cost comparison to see if they would save money to buy in our area .  I was really happy to see that we are more fortunate than other states as far as cost of living in areas of tax's, food, insurance and everyday items.  Compared to California my client could afford to take the salary cut and still live better her.  We are very lucky in SC, our state is doing well compared to others.  Our … (1 comments)

Missing 3 year old, and a hugh search - 10/23/08 09:12 PM
Today my heart stopped as my neighbor screamed Riley which I knew was her 3 year old.  This was the beginning of a 2 hour search through the woods, park and into 3 neighborhoods. The police tracking dogs and search team came and still not a thing. School let out and the teens in the neighborhood started looking.  They search the neighbors house 3 times, nothing.  This kid just disappeared.  The police put out a reverse 911 to 1 mile radios and started the helicopter.  Just when things got really concerning they found Riley a sleep under a pile of pillows … (1 comments)

I noticed a house for sale that  had a sign that read 100% loans , no money down, all types of credit may apply.  Isn't this what got us into this mess to begin with.  This attracts people have no money and want to buy a house.  I 'm sorry I do want everyone to have a chance to buy a home, but if you have no money and slow credit isn't his a recipe for disaster?  Taking people into buying a home they can't afford is not helping them!  They will be in foreclosure in a few months.  I … (2 comments)

Has we run from one appointment to another do we ever take a minute to look around you.  This weekend I was in a big hurry to get to church and rushed out the door.  I noticed the cool crisp air, but hurried my family to the car. Saturday night my daughter came to me for advice.  A boy at her school ask her to be his girlfriend.  Homecoming activities continued this evening with The Devildogs hosting the Wade Hampton Generals. Homecoming activities beginning at 7:00 p.m. in Chico Bolin Stadium.  
                                           
Come out Friday night and help Travelers Rest High School celebrate Homecoming 2008.  The parade made it through the rain and the ball game is tonight at 7:30.  These kids put a lot of hard work and tons of time to make this a special time for the school. I needed a new Health Insurance policy because Cobra policy is coming to end.  I started looking and found the cost unreal, over $450.00 a month for decent insurance!  I also checked into National Assoc of Realtors benefits, it isn't any better.  Is there any group or private  policies that are good.  How can people afford health insurance if the cost is more than a car payment and almost as high as a house payment?  Any ideas, we need to work together and share cost saving plans and ideas.  We have trimmed down our budget , and are really … (5 comments)
