Sam's Club2601 Skypark Dr Torrance, CA The City of Torrance Community Services Department invites everyone to participate in the 31st Annual Harry Sutter Memorial Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot Fun Run. This three-mile run will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 25, 2010. The event will be emceed by ABC7 anchor Phillip Palmer and feature a live musical production with music from the television show "Glee." The $200 ticket gets you dinner, cocktails and the show. Proceeds allow the Norris Center's education department to offer performing arts scholarships to local disadvantaged and foster children who would not be able to participate in the program without financial assistance. I am a car crazy gal, photographer and appreciate the finer things, so this event is right up my alley. Beautiful classic and rare cars displayed at the Palos Verdes Concours D'Elegance. Annual event benefits the Palos Verdes Art Center and Rotary. This is a weekend affair for car enthusiasts. Saturday involves the Tour d'Epicure Road Rallye starting at Trump National and ending at the Edelbrock Museum. A fundraising dinner followed, honoring this years Grand Marshal Andy Granatelli.
