Originally called Scotts Plantation, Belvoir Farms history dates back to the American Revolution when Jean Baptiste Donatien de Vimuier, a famous General in the French Army camped with his troops on the grounds when he was en route to join George Washington in Yorktown Virginia for the final campaign of the American Revolution.
