As I walk through the Los Altos neighborhoods, I am just overjoyed to see how many people are making the leap to drought tolerant landscaping. The plant of choice and my personal favorite is Dymondia. It fills in rather quickly from small plugs, is easy to maintain, and looks very much like the grass it is replacing.Here is information that was provided to me by L.
