This morning, we had a fantastic group of real estate professionals in attendance at Realty House in Edina for a 1.5 hour social networking course. social networking: Are You Showing the Real You When You Blog?

I read Joan Mirantz' great post, How's That "Other Hat" Been Fitting? and realized that many who use blogging and social networking to place themselves in front of the public fail to give a complete picture of themselves. For example, I see Facebook pages that are 100% about the author's work in real estate. Every post seems to be about listings, closings and real estate industry references. There's nothing wrong with that, except that NOBODY is truly 100% about what they do for a living!
